Plant Food

The meal your plants have been missing.

Most fertilizers give plants the bare minimum: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium. That's like feeding a person nothing but protein powder. Rosy Plant Food goes further — a blend of kelp, worm castings, biochar, and compost that feeds the full spectrum of what plants actually need to grow strong, put out new leaves, and stay healthy season after season.

Soil Mates

What Makes It Look Different

Rosy Plant Food is a dry, granular top-dressing — not a liquid fertilizer. It looks like a fine, dark compost blend. You'll sprinkle it into the top layer of soil, then water it in. It feeds slowly and consistently over 4–6 weeks rather than giving one big jolt that can burn roots.

How To Use

On watering day sprinkle a handful of Rosy Plant Food around the base of your plants.

Water thoroughly to begin releasing nutrients

Repeat every 4–6 weeks during active growth (spring–fall)

Repotting day is also a great time for an extra boost. Add a large handful to the base of the roots prior to planting.

Pro-Tips

Biochar tends to settle, just shake bag before use.

When your first use Rosy, you might notice it stains your hands black. It washes right off! If you notice the water in your plant saucer looks dark, it's just the biochar and it's a good thing!

Because of the beneficial fungi in our mixes, Rosy Soil occasionally sprouts a few mushrooms. There's nothing wrong with your soil, quite the opposite!
