POTTING OR REPOTTING
Make sure you use a planter with drainage holes. This is your best defense against drowning your plants! Partially fill the planter with a base of your Rosy Cactus + Succulent Mix.
PLANTING
Gently release your plant from its current container, carefully loosening its roots and centering it in the pot. Now fill the remaining space with your Rosy Cactus + Succulent Mix, leaving an inch at the top for easy watering.
WATERING
After planting, wait a week or two before watering. Allow the pot's time to adjust to their new environment. You'll know when its time when the top inch (or so) is dry. Make sure to let the soil dry out between waterings.
TIPS:
• Biochar tends to settle, just shake bag before use.
• When your first use Rosy, you might notice it stains your hands black. It washes right off! If you notice the water in your plant saucer looks dark, it's just the biochar and it's a good thing!
• Because of the beneficial fungi in our mixes, Rosy Soil occasionally sprouts a few mushrooms. There's nothing wrong with your soil, quite the opposite!
