"My office manager and I each have large fiddle-leaf figs in our conference room. They’re in the same window and get watered at the same time. I repotted mine with Rosy a couple months ago and it’s grown 4 new leaves. His has had no new growth. I feel kinda guilty"

"It’s worth the money my plants are thriving ! no gnats [tiny flying bugs] I usually find.

It’s simply the BEST"

"Rosy Soil has completely transformed my houseplant game! Since switching, my plants have shown incredible growth and vitality I've never achieved with other potting soils. Even my struggling plants have bounced back to life. My plants establish quickly and show immediate signs of thriving rather than transplant shock."

Nadine B.

"I gotta say I was skeptical at first. After a week I decided to check the roots — because there were NONE on this plant when I put it in. I WAS SHOCKED. It had grown gorgeous white, fuzzy roots in a week. I will not put my monsteras and scindapsus in any other substrate from now on."

Tina

"For a while I was dealing with root rot. I switched to something more well-draining, but that ended up getting too dry too quickly — crispy leaves. Rosy Soil has been a lifesaver. I haven't experienced any root rot since switching, and my plant roots are thriving. I'm even seeing more corms and babies in my plants."

Sheila

"I transplanted a Peace Lily and a Philodendron with Rosy Soil — tutorials said Peace Lilies can droop for days or weeks after transplanting. That didn't happen at all. My Peace Lily was perky and upright just hours after transplanting. I'm so pleased with Rosy Soil!"

Rosy vs Regular Soil

Most potting soils work against your plants — dense, soggy, and a welcome mat for gnats. Rosy's biochar-powered formula keeps soil airy, moisture balanced, and gnat-resistant. Dirt that actually does its job.

Peat free Orchid Potting soil

This mix is comprised of Pine bark, Charcoal, Pumice, & Worm castings- All the things you need for healthy orchids! The texture is chunky yet, a little too finely ground. In humid climates you need large chunks so it doesn't hold humidity and allows for easy drainage. This mix is a little too much like soil, than chunky potting mix for me. It gets the job done though. I used it for repotting several types of orchids today. The bag contains enough to fill about 1 gallon water jug full. There was no musty smell, it was good & healthy smelling. I'd recommend it over many Home-depot, WalMart & Lowes types of generic orchid potting mixes.

Great mix but not as chunky as expected

This orchid mix includes pine bark, charcoal, pumice, and worm castings which are all essential components for healthy orchids. It looks good out of the bag without any trapped moisture, bugs, or funky smells. And I know it’s just a small thing, but I absolutely love that the bag is resealable! The texture is chunky-ish but on the smaller side compared to other mixes I’ve used. Personally I prefer larger chunks to make sure I’ve got really good drainage for my orchids, so I added some large chunky perlite and bark to mix in and get the blend I wanted. The pot I was transplanting my orchids into has pretty big drainage holes on the sides and bottom, so I had to glue a mesh screen to the inside of the pot so the soil wouldn’t come out when watered. So far so good, my orchids seem to be loving it and even gave me some new blooms, and I’ve been able to water it throughly and drain out the excess without the moisture getting trapped. What sets this blend apart from the others for me is the addition of worm castings and MYCORRHIZAE. Most mixes either don’t have anything added, and I really think it’s made a difference because of how the move into a bigger pot with this blend really made my orchids perk up. One of them gave me huge new blooms, and the other started growing new leaves and new roots.

Good quality orchid soil

I just repotted both of my orchids yesterday, and they are doing fine so far and not showing any signs of stress. I shook out most of their other soil and replaced it with this soil. I like that this one has a lot of nutrients for my orchids.

It's a small to medium-sized, and it's easy to work with. It does have some bark pieces in it, which is good because orchids are an air plant, and they do best when air can get to their roots. I wouldn't consider it chunky. It has a small to medium chunkiness. I have some other orchid soil that is mostly bark, and that one has much larger pieces.

There is a lot of soil in the bag, and it will last me at least a couple of years since I don't repot the orchids often, only maybe every other year, unless they look like they are outgrowing their pot and need a larger one. It's a good value for the type of soil and the quantity offered in the bag.

I would get this soil again for my beautiful orchids.

Rosy Orchid soil seems high quality

This is my first time using it, it seems comparable to similar products. No complaints about Rosy soil, maybe pricy but based on appearance it seems high quality.
