Garden Soil
Your balcony garden upgrade
Most garden soils do two things: hold water and take up space. Rosy Garden Mix does a lot more. Built on biochar it retains nutrients longer, builds the kind of root structure that shows up in your harvest, and improves with every growing season. This bag is the start of better soil, not a one-season fix.

What Makes It Look Different
Rosy Soil appears darker than most potting mixes — that's the biochar doing its job. That unique texture is what creates airflow around roots that most soils can't match. Your plant will settle in fast.
How To Use
Pro-Tips
Biochar tends to settle, just shake bag before use.
When your first use Rosy, you might notice it stains your hands black. It washes right off! If you notice the water in your plant saucer looks dark, it's just the biochar and it's a good thing!
Because of the beneficial fungi in our mixes, Rosy Soil occasionally sprouts a few mushrooms. There's nothing wrong with your soil, quite the opposite!
FAQ
Most garden mixes are peat-based — heavy, compaction-prone, depleted after one season. Garden Mix uses biochar as its structural foundation. The biochar doesn't break down, so your soil improves over time rather than collapsing.
The 8qt bag fills six 6-inch pots or four 8-inch pots as a complete medium. For a raised bed, blend 50/50 with existing garden soil — this extends the bag significantly while still delivering real biochar improvement across the whole bed.
Yes — it's OMRI Listed for organic production. Every ingredient is food-safe. No synthetic fertilizers, no chemical additives, no prohibited inputs. The mycorrhizal fungi are naturally occurring species found in healthy soils worldwide.
Completely safe — it's biochar (carbonised wood). It washes off with soap and water. The dark water you might see in your saucer after the first few waterings is also just biochar particles settling — harmless and temporary.
